Top 10 of 2010 in Photos

In no particular order, here’s my toast to 2010 in photos. I’m really excited about next year – when I’ll be able to link to other blog posts instead of racking my poor brain!

1. We finished renovating the rental house – it’s actually a rental house here in Augusta that is owned by my parents, that Jason and I rehabbed and manage. It took us about 3 full months to completely rehab. Here’s a photo of the outside. One of these days, I’ll do a post with all the before and after pics!

2. Getting a job in Augusta at MAU Workforce Solutions! This was an amazing answer to prayer. I started in June 2010.
3. Redoing our kitchen and deck

4. New Lakehouse. My parents bought a lake house last winter so we had lots of fun this summer!
5. Finishing a Half Marathon
6. Trips to Hilton Head and Ellijay. Jason and I enjoyed our first non-honeymoon trips to Hilton Head during Summer 2010 and a trip to a cabin in Ellijay to celebrate our 2nd anniversary (we got a little impatient and opened our Christmas gifts on our anniversary – hence all the presents on the table…).
7. Having visitors in Augusta! We enjoyed having Jason’s parents, my parents, and my sister Kristen and her boyfriend Matthew visit us this year! We have a guest bedroom that is always available if you ever find yourself in Augusta!
8. Mom’s Surprise 50th Birthday Party. Jason and I got the job of re-enacting a day in the life of my parents. Here’s some pics.
9. Being in our friends weddings. Jason was in his friend Jamin’s wedding during Summer 2010. And I was in Catie’s wedding this past October
10. Joining our church. We absolutely love our church – Warren Baptist. We have enjoyed getting involved with the Newly/Nearly Married Group there. Here’s a pic of our Halloween party (in 2009). Sadly, I don’t have any photos of the group in 2010!

So all in all, it was a great year, full of blessings from our Lord Jesus. We can’t wait to see what lies ahead in 2011!
