What I’m Lovin’ Wednesdays: Week 2

When I did my “What I’m Lovin’ Wednesday” post last week, I had no idea that the same exact phrase was used all over the blogosphere by 100s of bloggers other than myself! So much for being creative! However, I still love the concept, and won’t let my lack of originality stop me from posting again. 

1. I’m Loving Comfort Food: Thank you Southern Plate for the wonderful slow cooker recipes! So far we have tried out Tender Roast and Veggies and Slow Cooker Fiesta Chicken. Both are easy and delicious! I especially love the fact that my hubby made them for me since I have to leave to early to put it in the crockpot!
2. I’m loving my Google Reader! I love the way that I can add and organize all my blogs for easy browsing and reading! For those of you who aren’t completely on the blog wagon quite yet- here’s what you do: visit http://www.google.com/reader and either sign in with your Gmail account, or create an account. Then, as you find blogs you like, just copy their homepage URL, go to your Google Reader, click the “Add a Subscription” button in the top left-hand corner, and paste the URL. Give have to give it a try! 
2b. I’m also loving my MobileRSS app on my iphone that let’s me access my Google Reader on the fly. If you ever see me zeroed in with intensity on my phone, chances are I’m either catching up on email, facebook, or blogs on this handy-dandy app. 
2. I’m loving my Indoor Gym Membership: On cold, rainy days it is absolutely necessary for me to do my work-out inside-or I probably wouldn’t do it at all. Even though I prefer running outdoors, it is encouraging to see others huffing and puffing and sweating just like me. 
3. I’m loving Taylor Swift’s new CD “Speak Now”. Here’s the song “Sparks Fly” that I keep getting stuck in my head. 
4. I’m loving these pillows as a upcoming craft project. Maybe I’ll drag out my sewing machine for the first time in 2 years and attempt to make them! 
5. I’m loving the great ideas that I get from other bloggers. Like this one from Simple Mom about How to Watch TV on the Internet. The Roku is officially on my Amazon Wish List. 
6. I’m loving I get to do my taxes this weekend. Here’s hoping that we get to purchase a Macbook with our impending return! 
7. I’m loving that I got a gift certificate to go out to eat at The French Market Grill – a restaurant that Jason and I have been wanting to try for quite some time!

  1. Hey girl! I ran two marathons in college – but I take them with HUGE grain of salt. Neither one of them did I train for adequately, ie the longest run I had before either of them was 16 miles and I ended up with overuse injuries and marginal times. Luckily, since you are married to a PT, you should be fine 🙂 This time, I trained with a best friend in dental school and we loosely ran 3 short to med length runs in the week and a long run on the weekend – anywhere from 13-20 miles. We got in 2 20 milers 🙂 Also, I have run probably about 6 half's before since my sophomore year in college. If you have any questions, please please let me know! And, I love the Taylor Swift song. My FAVORITE band in the whole world, NEEDTOBREATHE, is opening for her on tour this year 🙂
