What I’m Lovin’ Wednesdays: Week 5

I know I am a day behind on this. But better late than never!

{1}I’m loving…Time with my family. I got to go home this past weekend. Here’s a pic of my little sis Summer and me at her birthday party.

{2}I’m loving…My parents dog Roxy. We all call her the “perfect dog”. She has those puppy dog eyes, she is just the right size – small but not too small, she doesn’t make a peep, and she loves to be around people. Isn’t she a cutie?

{3}I’m loving…Google Chrome. If you haven’t tried it yet – you must. It is faster, simpler, and just plain better than all the other browsers out there. Plus, you can drag the tabs at the top wherever you want. I also like how you can just click the star if you want to favorite something.
{4}I’m loving…fonts. Now that the web has HTML5, it opens a whole new world of fonts to websites everywhere! Maybe its because I spend so much time online for work, but to me fonts really are an art form. Plus I discovered today that Google has its own font library. But fonts.com had the best video describing how the web has changed for the better in the font arena.
{5} I’m Loving…LiveStream. This is a pretty cool website that allows you to live stream anything to any website – for free! I have seen a few live Q&A sessions online where people chatted via Facebook or Twitter and got live answers to their questions. Turns out it was all generated by LiveStream. Pretty cool!
While I’m at it, I’ll add a few more nerdy-techy-marketing-type things to the list…
{6} I’m loving…Hootsuite. This website allows you to post to your Facebook, Twitter, Linkedin, 4Square (and more) accounts all at once! This has been a lifesaver at work – where we have upwards of 10 different social media accounts. Check some of them out here http://twitter.com/lbaareman/mau. Plus, Hootsuite gives you tons of analytics if you use their URL shortener  – ow.ly
{7}I’m loving…Google Analytics. This is a must for anyone with a website or blog. It gives you TONs of detailed information. Plus, it’s really not that hard at all to install the code to your blog. Here’s some simple instructions via video.
Happy Thursday!
